The Bhaskar-II site wasn’t just another energy project. It was a bold statement from SunPetro Chemicals, an ambitious step to reclaim and revitalize a key oilfield while advancing India’s energy ambitions.
When we at Orange Videos came onboard as the video production partner, we knew this wasn’t a typical assignment. It required a documentary-style corporate video rooted in realism, adaptability, and clear intent.
The Bhaskar-II site in Gujarat, previously under ONGC for over 30 years, had transitioned to SunPetro Chemicals. The objective was to construct an access road through waterbodies, build temporary infrastructure, and restart operations from the ground up.
Our brief was to craft a success story film that documented how SunPetro was reclaiming this strategic asset. The site was not camera-ready. Tides submerged access roads, construction was ongoing, and conditions changed constantly.
We started with a plan for 8 to 10 interviews over a few weeks. In reality, it turned into 16 interviews across an entire year.
Each shoot ran 12 to 13 hours in intense heat. Some days, high tides swallowed the access road completely, halting entry and forcing us to rethink schedules.
Our video production team refused to budge or settle. We stayed determined, shifting logistics, reimagining shots, and finding new ways to capture the story despite every obstacle.
We documented drone footage, team walkthroughs, heavy machinery in motion, and evolving interviews. It was raw and dynamic, a perfect storm that demanded discipline and vision in post.
In the edit suite, our mission was clear: deliver a success story through a film that was purposeful and powerful. Our editors employed a layered approach:
We shaped the film around one core idea - India’s energy security - and made sure every visual, from pipeline to pavement, echoed that commitment.
The final film transcended a simple video - it became a robust industrial video production company asset. With fluid transitions, narrative clarity, and sharp editing, it served multiple formats:
This wasn’t about dramatizing construction. It was about documenting purpose, persistence, and progress - about a company betting on its people to transform a tough terrain into an energy-producing site.
Every documentary has its checklist - and we delivered on all fronts:
This is what defines Orange Videos. We don’t just capture footage - we craft stories from uncertainty. With fast responses, deep collaboration, and a focus on clarity, we ensure that every frame matters.
That’s the hallmark of standout industrial video production: the intersection of structure, creativity, and resilience. It’s not just about showing what happened - but revealing what it meant.
In SunPetro’s case, the final documentary film - Bharat Ki Shaan stands as a visual testament to determination, innovation, and national purpose.
